SHED Fitness (“SHED”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) operates the website shed-easy.com and related mobile experiences (collectively, the “Service”). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using the Service you agree to the practices described here.
1. Information We Collect
1.1 Account information
When you create an account we collect your email address and, if you choose to provide them, your name, age, gender, height, and weight. This information is used to create your account and personalise your experience.
1.2 Health and fitness data
You may voluntarily enter health-related information such as calorie goals, food logs, workout history, weight entries, water intake, health conditions, and activity level. This data is stored securely and used solely to provide and improve the Service for you.
1.3 Payment information
If you subscribe to a paid plan, payment is processed by Stripe, Inc. SHED does not store your full card number, CVV, or bank details. Stripe's privacy policy governs how your payment data is handled.
1.4 Usage data
We automatically collect standard log data when you use the Service, including your IP address, browser type, pages visited, and timestamps. This is used for security, debugging, and improving the product.
1.5 Cookies and local storage
We use cookies and browser local storage to keep you signed in and remember your preferences (such as dark mode). We do not use third-party advertising cookies.
2. How We Use Your Information
- Provide, operate, and maintain the Service
- Personalise your dashboard, calorie targets, and AI-generated content
- Process subscription payments and send receipts
- Send important account notifications (e.g. password reset, email confirmation)
- Detect and prevent fraud or abuse
- Improve and develop new features based on aggregate, anonymised usage patterns
We do not sell your personal data. We do not share it with third parties for marketing purposes.
3. Data Sharing
We share your data only with the following categories of service providers, and only as necessary to operate the Service:
- Supabase — database and authentication infrastructure
- Stripe — payment processing
- Anthropic — AI features (meal plans, workout generation). Prompts sent to Anthropic include your preferences but not your name or contact details.
- Vercel — application hosting and edge delivery
All providers are contractually required to protect your data and may not use it for their own commercial purposes.
4. Data Retention
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, your personal data and health records are permanently deleted within 30 days. Anonymised, aggregate analytics data may be retained indefinitely.
5. Your Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Correct inaccurate data
- Request deletion of your data (“right to be forgotten”)
- Object to or restrict certain processing
- Export your data in a portable format

6. Security
We use industry-standard measures to protect your data: encrypted connections (TLS), row-level security on our database so users can only access their own records, and hashed, salted passwords managed by Supabase Auth. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
7. Children
The Service is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has provided us personal data, contact us at bwright@shed-easy.com and we will delete it promptly.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or by displaying a notice in the app. Continued use of the Service after the effective date of any changes constitutes your acceptance of the new policy.
